Episode #521 "Trampled Under Foot (Fez Gets Dumped)"

SYNOPSIS:

Fez is taken by surprise when Nina tells him she needs some space. It's not Fez, she tells him, it's her. The gang is in the Forman basement watching TV and commenting that they do the same thing every day. They even sit in the same places. When a girl says she needs space, Donna tells Fez, it means she's dumping you. And when she says it's not you, says Jackie, it's you. Later, the kids are hanging out with Red and Kitty in the kitchen. They're hanging out with his parents, Eric observes. They have no lives! Maybe they should add someone to the group. Or maybe try weeding out a few, Red chimes in. Kitty suggests adding Lance Crawford. He's such a nice boy. Eric says Kitty only suggested Lance because she wants his mom's peach cobbler recipe. Donna says that Lance always looks at her in a creepy way. The next day while the gang's discussing who they would or wouldn't like to hang out with them, Kitty calls Eric to the living room. Guess who's here-Lance Crawford! Eric dashes downstairs and sounds the alarm. They all exit. Fez confronts Nina and demands to know why he's being dumped. He's too needy; that's the problem. Fez is hiding out in his room, too depressed to see anyone. The gang goes looking for him and discovers that his room is filled with cool, expensive stuff-a stereo, a train set, a giant stuffed panda, a jukebox and a race car shaped bed. They're blown away. Am I too needy, Fez asks. Eric says Fez is the definition of needy. Being needy scares chicks, says Hyde. You have to pretend you don't care. A fantasy sequence follows in which Fez is transformed into the Six Million Dollar Man. At the Formans', Lance tells Kitty that he only came over in hopes of seeing the beautiful Donna. He says he knows that Kitty only invited him because she's after his mom's peach cobbler recipe. Kitty tries to play dumb, but Lance has a deal for her. His mom wants Kitty's stuffing recipe, so Lance proposes a swap. Fez sees Nina at the Hub and tries to act very cool. Hyde congratulates him on a job well done. Lance is smug that he scored Kitty's prize recipe. Today the stuffing, tomorrow Donna. Kitty tells Red she's curious to know how the stuffing comes out when they use clams instead of raisins. The next day at the Hub, Nina tells Fez that maybe she was a little hasty in breaking up with him, but Fez wants nothing to do with her. It's over, he tells her, and it's not Nina, it's Fez!
