With the news that Eric and Donna are soon moving to Madison, Red has gone fishing. Kitty has stayed at home and flipped out, but if anyone calls her nuts, they're going through the sliding door. Kelso visits Jackie in her room in an attempt to win her back. He hands her a jar of pink jelly beans and announces that standing before her is the new and improved Michael. He's made mistakes in the past, but now he's a changed guy. He's at least managed to make her laugh but then Fez storms in and demands his jelly beans back. Jackie goes to the Forman basement and encounters Hyde, who wants to
talk. Jackie's not interested; she's just there to see Donna. Hyde, Kelso and Fez climb
to the top of the water tower to vandalize it as a senior prank. Kelso and Hyde are bickering about Jackie when Kelso falls backward off the railing. Hyde starts down the ladder to check on him, and Fez is by himself and hard at work painting when the spotlight hits him. Busted! Red comes home from fishing and tells Eric he's had a change of heart. He's done everything possible to stop him from getting married, but Eric has stuck to his guns. Red has to admire that Eric's willing to go out on his own.
Eric's a man, and he has Red's blessing. Eric's stunned, but Kitty's even more shocked.
Her baby's leaving home and Red's okay with it. Kelso's at the hospital having his
sprained ankle and wrist bandaged. He thanks Hyde for driving him there. He observes that they've been friends since the third grade, so why are they fighting over a girl?
He's right, Hyde agrees. They both decide to step back and stop competing for Jackie. But Jackie arrives thinking Hyde was the one who was hurt. Hyde realizes that in spite of what Jackie says, she still cares, he still has a shot. Now Hyde's not so sure about stepping back. Back in the Forman basement, Hyde tells Kelso that he's changed his mind, and the bickering resumes as if nothing had happened. A furious Fez arrives.
The police have discovered that his student visa has expired. He has to leave right after graduation. He's being deported!
