Episode #602 "Join Together"

Jackie and Donna are sunbathing in the Forman driveway. Eric and Hyde can't believe how hot they look. Kelso arrives and rips off his shirt to tan with the girls. He may need them to rub on some lotion, but no roaming hands! Eric tells his parents he's decided not to go away to college. Kitty's beside herself with joy, but Red says he's waited eighteen years to be rid of Eric, and now this happens. Kitty reminds Red of the doctor's orders. She's going to remove all the unhealthy food and drink from the house. She'll abstain with Red, but she draws the line at alcohol. In Donna's bedroom a few minutes later, Donna and Eric talk about how much they're going to miss each other. In seconds, Donna pulls Eric onto the bed. Later, Eric tells the gang that going away sex is even better than make-up sex. Fez spies Jackie's toe ring and goes wild. Jackie tells Hyde that she now has all sorts of things she didn't have when they were dating-toe ring, tan lines, tattoo. Hyde thinks she's bluffing. Well, they're broken up, so he'll never know. She exits. what's he thinking, he asks Fez and Kelso. He can't let himself get reeled back in. Kelso observes that Jackie would do almost anything to get Hyde back. A fantasy sequence follows in which Jackie and Donna do a sexy dance sequence together. At the end, they're joined by Kelso, shirtless, who does a few Chippendale moves and rips off his breakaway pants to reveal a silver Speedo. Later Eric tells Fez that all her has to do to get Donna sad and she gives it away. Perhaps, says Fez, the "open sesame" is to make a lady cry. Hyde says that for Laurie, "Hi" usually does it. At The Hub, Jackie shows Hyde her tattoo, which he immediately smears with his napkin. It's fake. Hyde tells her that no tattoos or toe rings make up for the fact that she has a lot to apologize for. No, says Jackie, Hyde's the one who should be apologizing. Kelso decides that he'll have to step in and reunite Jackie and Hyde. Later, Fez is in the Forman kitchen when Laurie walks in. He asks if she ever feels needy. In fact she does, and she's going to see if her friend Carlos is home. Kelso gets Hyde to admit that maybe he was a little impetuous and rash with Jackie. Kelso passes this along, but Jackie maintains that it was Hyde who messed up the relationship. He fabricated the whole thing about Jackie and Kelso being back together. Kelso reports to Hyde that Jackie wants him to know that there was a mess, because she was wearing the wrong fabric. Hyde says that can't possibly be what Jackie said. He's only trying to help, protests Kelso. Later Kelso tells Fez that he's going to have to lie to Hyde and Jackie and tell each that the other apologized. They see through Kelso's ploy immediately, but admit that they really do want to be together.
