Episode #608 "I'm A Boy"

SYNOPSIS:

It's afternoon, and Eric walks into the Forman kitchen having just gotten out of bed. Kitty's so proud of him, working late to help out, that she's made him a special sandwich. Donna, who's just bought her first bride's magazine and wants to talk weddings, tells him to go back to bed and she'll join him after class. In an aside to Eric, Hyde reminds him that he actually wasn't working late; he was playing poker. Kitty and Red come in, and Kitty says that since Eric's so tired, she's having Fez drive Red to his doctor's appointment. At the library, Kelso's telling Brooke that he thinks they should date. They need to spice up their illegitimate pregnancy with a little romance, not to mention that he thinks she's hot. In the Forman driveway, even before they leave a surly Red has begun to threaten Fez. In Eric's room, Eric and Donna are in bed and Eric continues to talk about how hard he's been working at the restaurant. In the basement, Kelso talks to Hyde and Jackie about coming along on his date with Brooke. A double date would be much less awkward. Eric comes in wearing T-shirt, boxers and a blanket. He could really get used to this life. Maybe he'll take it one step further and get fat. A fantasy sequence follows with Eric in a gigantic fat suit. After Red's appointment, Fez suggests that they stop for pie, but red directs him to the Elks Lodge. Red goes in and leaves Fez to wait in the car for a very long time. That night, in the hotel kitchen, the guys are playing poker when Donna comes in with a gift of brownies for Eric. Eric's busted, and Donna's really pissed. The next day, the guys, minus Eric, are hanging out in the Forman driveway when Donna comes by looking for Eric. Go upstairs and look for a lump under the covers, suggests Hyde. Donna's had it. She tells Eric he's an idiot. He lies around all day and acts like he'd be happy to live in his mother's house forever. Eric, of course, denies all this. But when Kitty comes in to bring him a sandwich and a comic book, Donna tells her that her babying has turned her son into a big lazy child. As Kitty exits, Eric apologizes to Donna. That's not good enough. He hasn't even mentioned the wedding in weeks. Donna stayed home from college to be with. If she'd known that he'd be acting like this she would have left. In a restaurant, the double date isn't going well. Brooke has nothing in common with the other three. And when Jackie reveals her previous relationship with Kelso and his habitual cheating, Brooke thinks it's time to leave. In the Forman living room, Red confronts an angry Fez and sets him straight on how things work in this family. Fez hears only the word "family" and is thrilled to be included. His anger melts away. The next day, Eric asks Donna what she's doing the day after her birthday, because he thinks that might be a good day to get married. Later, Brooke comes to the hotel kitchen. She admits to Kelso that she does need him, because she's a little scared. Perfect, says Kelso, because he's terrified. They agree that they're having a baby and they haven't a clue!
