Eric, Hyde and Fez are hanging out in Hyde's room when Donna comes in. She's found the perfect romantic place to get married-Mount Hump. That's not for romance; it's for humping, Eric tells her. She wants Eric to go with her the next day to check it out. The Cruiser is in the shop, but they can take her dad's car. Jackie comes in. She can't understand why anyone would want to hang out in Hyde's room. It's gray like a prison cell. She thinks Steven would be happier if he saw pretty things. Kelso comes in with a melted GI Joe. It's Eric's and he isn't happy, but Kelso reminds him that they're friends. What's Eric's is Kelso's and vice versa. Later, at the library, Brooke tells Kelso she's so impressed with his new sense of responsibility that she'd like him to take her to her doctor's appointment tomorrow. They'll hear the baby's heartbeat. Kelso's thrilled. Donna tells Bob she needs to borrow his car. Eric adds that they're thinking of getting married at Mount Hump. Bob's horrified. A church is the only place to get married. No church, no car. Donna suggests using Kelso's van. Eric hesitates, and Donna reminds him about GI Joe. Bob goes to the Formans with a pair of black dress shoes that he gives Red as a present. Red thinks this is extremely odd. Guys don't give other guys shoes. In the Forman basement, Jackie's watching TV when Hyde and Fez come in. Jackie's bursting with excitement and can't wait to show Hyde what she's done to his room. They go upstairs, and Hyde discovers that his room has been completely redecorated with candles, floral bedding and curtains and twinkle lights. Hyde feels sick; he wants Jackie to make things dirty and ugly again. Jackie can't believe it. She worked all morning. This will make Hyde feel like he's running through a field like Laura Ingalls. Kelso's looking for his van. Fez says Kelso probably lost it. What's he going to do? Brooke will kill him if he doesn't get her to the doctor's appointment. He'll take Red's car. But Red walks up behind him and threatens to kick his ass. Later, Red tells Kitty that shoes are an inappropriate gift to give another man. Kitty says Bob is Red's friend, and Red should accept the shoes. Hyde's alone in his room looking around in disgust, and Red's in the living room looking at the shoes. In an intercut scene, Hyde carefully checks out his new room while Red's checking out the shoes. They both discover that they love what they have. At Mount Hump, Eric and Donna decide that it isn't right for their wedding. They
watch in amazement as Kelso's van rolls over a cliff. Brooke's furious when Kelso comes to pick her up on a bicycle. Kitty tells Hyde she loves his room and asks him to tell Red that the shoes are nice. Hyde responds with a wisecrack. Hyde returns to his room to find that Jackie took everything away. He freaks out. Where's his lavender candle? Later Eric and Kelso are in the basement when Brooke in. Eric confesses that he borrowed Kelso's van and wrecked it. Brooke turns on Eric. He's the irresponsible one, not Kelso. Kelso can take her to her next appointment. At the Formans, Red is about to throw the shoes in the trash just as Bob comes in. Bob says the shoes didn't fit him, so he pawned them off on Red. This explanation works for Red. Kitty tells Bob that Red was about to throw the shoes away. That's not how friends act. But Bob has no problems with this. He gave Red shoes; that's weird! Before she'll re-do his room, Jackie makes Hyde admit that he loved it. Kelso comes to pick up Brooke in an MG Midget convertible. He bought it at a police auction. Brooke observes that it's a little impractical, but Kelso says no, it's tiny, just like a baby.
