Episode #612 "Sally Simpson"

Kelso introduces Suzy Simpson, a co-cadet at the police academy who drove him home, to the gang. He observes that she’ll probably be arresting them in the future. Later, Kelso tells everyone that Suzy is the first girl he’s ever known that he thinks of just as a friend. Red and Kitty come in from Red’s doctor’s appointment. The doctor can’t understand why Red’s blood pressure is still high. He wants to send someone over to determine the source of Red’s stress. Kitty’s a little nervous about this and afraid she might be the one at fault. When Stuart, the stress management specialist arrives, she’s a little on the defensive. The next day, Fez and Kelso are in the Forman basement when Suzy comes in. Fez and Suzy hit it off, and Fez is clearly enamored. After Suzy leaves, Fez tells Kelso that Suzy’s the woman he’s been waiting for. Kelso says he’ll find out if Suzy’s interested in Fez. Stuart is recording his sessions with Red. Red and Eric are talking on camera when Hyde and Jackie come in. Kitty enters and attempts to be soft and gracious. Red asks if she’s Scarlett O’Hara. At The Hub, Kelso tells Suzy that somebody thinks she’s cute, smart and funny. Suzy thinks it’s Kelso. She tells him that she know who he’s talking about. She likes him too. Later Kelso tells Jackie that it’s happened again. Someone he likes just as a friend wants his hot bod. Jackie suggests that he fix Suzy up with Fez, since he’s the one who likes her. At The Hub, Kelso asks Suzy if she’ll help him brush up on target practice. It’s a date, she says. They arrange to meet at the shooting range. Then Kelso tells Fez that he’s set up Fez’s first date with Suzy and that she’s crazy about him. Kelso later tells Jackie and Hyde that Fez is going on a date with Suzy who thinks she’s going on a date with Kelso. This should work out perfectly. Stuart’s getting ready to leave, and the tape is missing. He tells Kitty that he saw her take it. The final exercise is role-playing for Red and Eric. When it’s finished, Stuart determines that Eric is the cause of Red’s stress. Red jumps to Eric’s defense; his son is a fine young man. Eric is touched. Red throws Stuart out; he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. At the shooting range, Suzy’s surprised to see Fez. She tells Kelso she thought it would be just the two of them. He thought this would be even better, he tells her. Fez pulls Kelso aside and tells him to beat it. Kelso says he’ll be in the next booth and asks Suzy to teach Fez to shoot. Suzy goes to check on Kelso who tells her that Fez really likes her. They see a rabbit, and Suzy mentions that she really likes animals. They hear a loud gunshot. Fez has shot the rabbit. In the Forman basement, Eric tells Donna, Jackie and Hyde that his dad actually complimented him. They’re a little skeptical. Later, at The Hub, Fez apologizes to Suzy for ruining their first date. She has no idea what he’s talking about; her date was with Michael. Suzy says that clearly they’ve both been lied to. Kelso comes in, and they both jump him. Fez, especially, is furious. Eric thanks his dad for the kind words, and Red’s extremely uncomfortable. His heart will explode if Eric says “I love you.” And Fez rails at Kelso that he stole his girl!
