The four guys are playing miniature golf when they run into Mitch, who works there. They immediately start exchanging burns. Eric tells Hyde how much he hates that guy. Eric hits a ball toward the castle, but it hits the shack where Mitch is standing, and a whole wall of golf clubs falls on his head. Later, at the hospital, Eric tells Mitch how sorry he is. Mitch says he can’t remember why they started fighting in the first place. Doesn’t Eric think they should be friends? Eric sighs. If Mitch ever wants to hang out in the basement, he’s welcome. Just a little later that day, the guys come into the basement, and Mitch is there playing with Eric’s Star Wars figures. In the Forman kitchen, Bob’s getting romantic with Pamela to the disgust of Donna, Jackie, Red and Kitty. Bob invites them all to dinner that night. He has a big surprise. In the basement, Mitch has already begun to annoy the guys, and they’re trying to make him go away. Donna and Jackie come in. Mitch takes one look at Donna and is transfixed. He showers her with compliments. Donna tells Eric she likes his new friend. Kelso tells Mitch that Donna’s with Eric-for now. The adults plus Donna and Jackie are at a karate fish restaurant. With the others looking on, Bob asks Pamela to move in with him. Pamela says that’s really sweet, but she’s seeing someone else. Bob is stunned. The next day, Eric, Red and Kitty are in the driveway when Mitch walks up. He does his best to ingratiate himself with the parents. Dona, Jackie and Kelso are in the Pinciotti kitchen. Donna says her dad’s really upset about Pamela. Jackie observes that some things don’t belong together, and furthermore it’s all Bob’s fault. Donna angrily reminds her that Bob gave Jackie a home when her mother took off. Mitch steals a kiss from Donna while the kids are playing Truth or Dare. Eric tells Donna, Fez and Kelso that he doesn’t want Mitch hanging around there anymore. Jackie asks her mom how she could do that to Bob. Pamela says the other guy she’s seeing is a Lincoln dealer. Jackie starts to get excited but catches herself. Jackie tells her mom she needs to do some thinking. Bob’s a good person. Her mom should be happy with what she has. The next day, Eric’s in the basement and discovers that his Darth Vader action figure is missing. He runs upstairs to the kitchen where Mitch is making omelets for everyone. He calls Mitch a thief. Mitch denies it. He says he wouldn’t do that, especially to a friend. Eric throws him out. Kitty comes in holding the Darth Vader. Was Eric playing with it in the bathtub? Bob, Red, Kitty, Donna and Jackie are back at the restaurant when Pamela comes in. She realizes now that her priorities were a little mixed up. Bob’s the man for her, and she wants to move in with him. Here’s your key, says Bob. At the miniature golf course, Eric apologizes to Mitch. Hyde stole the Darth Vader, Eric tells him. Mitch, in turn, admits that he shouldn’t have jumped Eric’s girlfriend. Mitch is so forlorn that Eric reluctantly invites him back to hang out again.
