Eric tells the guys he had a dream that because Donna gave up her life plans to be with him, she eventually left him, because she was so miserable. If he's really holding Donna back, he could be ruining both their lives. Kelso tells Eric to relax. It was just an anxiety dream, because he's getting married tomorrow. Eric tells the guys to decide among themselves who's going to be best man. Later, Kelso is in his car at a stoplight. He's wearing his police uniform. When the car in front of him doesn't move on the green light, Kelso gets out and approaches the car saying that he didn't know they let brain-dead morons drive cars. He leans into the car and sees Brooke in the passenger's seat . The driver is Carolyn, her mother. Eric and Donna take Red, Kitty, Pamela and Bob to see the trailer. Pamela tells Donna she thinks she could do better. Red pulls Eric aside. The trailer is so small. Where will Eric hide when Donna has a chore for him? A few minutes later, Eric asks Dona if this is what they really want. It's such a big step that he just wants to make sure. Dona thinks he's having second thoughts about her, but Eric assures her that he's happy. Later that day, Donna tells Kitty, Laurie and Jackie that she's a little nervous about the wedding. Kitty says it's just cold feet. Since half of all marriages end in divorce, says Donna, a lot of people who have cold feet are right. But by then it's too late. Later, at Brooke's apartment, Carolyn reproaches Kelso for being so rude. While Brooke is out of the room, Carolyn tells him she's taking Brooke home to Chicago to have the baby and live with her. In their bedroom, Donna tells Jackie that she feels sick. Does Jackie think that she and Eric are making a mistake? No, says Jackie, Eric and Donna are meant to be together. Later, at the church, everyone is milling around waiting for Eric and Donna to come for the rehearsal. Donna enters and apologizes for being late. But where is Eric? At Brooke's apartment, Kelso tells Carolyn that he and Brooke are going to raise the baby together. Who's going to stay home with the child, Carolyn asks. Kelso won't have time. He'll be away at the Police Academy for six months. Kelso caves in, and Brooke is thrilled. She didn't know how she was going to break the news. At the church, Red says he and Kitty should leave. Eric is two hours late. Donna tells Red that Eric ditched the rehearsal, because he doesn't want to marry her. Back in the Forman living room, Pamela tries to reassure Donna. She knows that Eric loves her. If Eric loved her, says Donna, he'd be here right now. The phone rings, and Hyde answers. He speaks briefly and hangs up. Wrong number. What did he say, asks Donna. He said he's sorry, says Hyde. What does that mean, Donna wants to know. It means that he's not coming, says Hyde. He's gone. Eric tells the guys that he's afraid Donna will regret marrying him and giving up all the plans she had for her life. And Brooke's mom arrives and has some news for Kelso.
