W.B. officially gives Hyde and Angie the keys to the record store,
and it's up to them to furnish it, decorate it, and get it open
for business. Hyde sets up a listening pit in the store and gets
rid of the soft rock section which makes Angie upset. She has her
own business-school-inspired ideas for the store. When Angie realizes
she forgot to order the record bins, Hyde says he'll take care of
it, as long as his ideas get to stay. He and the gang brainstorm
(in a circle) and decide to steal milk crates as record bins. Late
night at a loading dock, Donna distracts a milk man while the gang
steals crates. When the record store opens, W.B. is surprised to
see the crates, but Hyde covers for Angie and tells W.B. it was
his idea to make the store look cool. W.B. doesn't like it, but
is willing to try it.
Expecting a huge crowd, Eric camps out all night to get tickets
to a Styx concert on Thanksgiving. In the morning he's still the
only one there for tickets. He gets them anyway. But it's Thanksgiving,
and Kitty is upset that Laurie's gone, Hyde's working, and Eric
is going to his concert. When she threatens not to make her yams,
Red forces Eric to miss the concert and stay home for dinner. Bob
joins them for dinner, which turns out to be an uncomfortable mess
with Eric and Red mad at each other. Later, Red and Kitty talk to
Eric about being irresponsible with no goals or ambitions. He says
he's scared, he doesn't know what he wants to do with his life.
They give him six months to find out or he becomes a chiropractor.
Meanwhile, Kelso keeps commenting on how pretty Angie is and in
the end asks her out
