Donna has to return her wedding shoes to Wanamaker Bridal but doesn’t
want to because she’s embarrassed to acknowledge her failed
marriage to Stacy Wanamaker. Jackie quickly volunteers, eager to
meet the woman who’s everything she wants to be: gorgeous,
popular and married. When Stacy tells Jackie (posing as Donna) how
sorry she is about her failed marriage, Jackie panics and makes
up a story about how she called off the marriage because she traded
up and is going to wed Prince Eduardo (Fez). Stacy invites Jackie
to a wedding expo and to come to her cousin’s wedding to check
out the band. Fez tells Jackie she’s crazy for continuing
the charade. But she’s worried that this might be all she
gets; that Hyde may never come through. At the wedding, the real
Donna shows up, ruining Jackie’s cover. Jackie tells Hyde
her concerns about them and asks about their future. All Hyde can
muster is an “I don’t know.”
Kelso can’t help but boast to Hyde about dating his sister,
Angie. Hyde wants to exact revenge but Kelso says he can’t
because of a pact they made about not interfering with the other’s
pursuit of a girl. Eric feels left out that he wasn’t included
in Kelso and Hyde’s pact. He tells Hyde that he can get Angie
to dump Kelso and the two enter into a pact of their own. Eric prompts
everyone to share unflattering stories about Kelso in front of Angie.
Angie breaks up with Kelso. Kelso is devastated. Why would Angie
break up with him when things were going so well? Hyde comes clean.
He tells Angie that he wanted everyone to share their Kelso stories.
Angie says she didn’t break up with him because of that, but
because she could see how much it was bothering Hyde. Apparantly
they reconciled quickly as Hyde comes out of the back office buttoning
his shirt.
