Red enters the basement and announces to the gang that he’s
going ice fishing. Kitty adds that she’d like to join him.
Red argues that he would prefer if Kitty didn’t go. Kitty
however, insists on tagging along. Hoping to preoccupy her time
since her split with Hyde, Jackie insists on tagging along with
Donna by attending Donna’s karate class. Kelso calls The White
House to prove to the guys that there is indeed a Russian Death
Ray. After moments of being on hold, Kelso indirectly threatens
the President’s life and the guys worry that the Feds are
going to come after them. Kitty and Red ice fish and Red is noticeably
frustrated by Kitty’s presence, but Red slowly starts to thaw
as they both become wistfully amorous. Back at the house, the guys
are worried about an unmarked car that pulls up in front of the
house. Paranoid that it could be the Feds, the guys decide they
need to smoke all the “evidence” immediately. Meanwhile,
Jackie and Donna attend Donna’s karate lesson. Jackie protests
the practicality of karate, since everyone that she knows loves
her and consequently, she has no reason to feel threatened. The
guys at the house are getting worried that the FBI is on to them.
A salesman delivers a Hand-Vac to Kitty, but the guys are convinced
that it’s the government’s attempt to bug the house.
They destroy the vacuum and resolve to try to smoke the rest of
the evidence. Kitty and Red are enjoying their alone time in the
ice fishing cabin, until Red finally gets a bite. Jackie continues
to take the position at the karate class that the self-defense stuff
doesn’t apply to her. Donna argues, hypothetically what if
it was someone that already hurt her, like Hyde? Jackie explodes
and knocks the karate instructor out, claiming that all “men
are bastards!” Meanwhile, there is a suspicious van parked
out front, and the guys go to investigate. However, it turns out
just to be a legitimate dog catcher van. On their car ride home,
Red apologizes to Kitty for throwing her to the floor to catch the
first Perch he caught this year and Kitty eventually forgives him.
