Donna is upset when the radio station very attractive, yet music
illiterate “Sizzling Sarah” to work at the station.
Her upset turns to anger when the station manager wants her to help
promote a live remote broadcast from Grooves Records (where Tom
Jones is due to appear) by appearing on a billboard wearing a bikini.
She approaches the station manager and voices her opinion and ends
up getting fired and replaced by Sarah. But Eric has a plan to help
her get back at Sarah... At the remote broadcast, Donna goes to
Sarah and apologizes. She hands her a record and says the station
manager says she should play it. Sarah, absentmindedly, puts on
George Carlin’s seven dirty words you can’t say on television
or radio. She gets fired and Donna gets her job back, with some
concessions from the station manager to boot.
Angie and Hyde work to coordinate Jones’ appearance. He’s
late and Hyde is left having to fend off a throng of angry woman.
Kitty’s excited to meet Tom Jones and wants to go, but falls
ill with the flu. She asks Red to go in her sted. He begrudingly
goes, only he doesn’t want to wait in line with the “herd
of water buffalo” and leaves after forging the autograph on
the record. Kitty is pleased as punch with Red and prepares him
a hero’s meal. But then Bob comes in and it’s revealed
Tom Jones never showed up.
Jackie asks Fez’s advice on how to get Hyde back. Fez tells
her she needs to go to him and tell her how she feels. He offers
to role play for her, but that fails when he keeps trying to slip
a kiss in. Jackie goes to the record store and confronts Hyde, who
is too busy with Tom Jones appearance to pay much attention. Jackie’s
hurt.
