Episode #717 “Down the Road Apiece"

Eric hits the road with a videocamera to be a traveling documentary filmmaker. Kitty and Donna are worried about him. Just outside of town, Eric gets a flat and he runs into Leo. That night, Donna and Kitty worry that Eric hasn't called and take Red and Kelso out to look for him. Eric and Leo eat at a truck stop. Eric loves the "realness" of the place and the people, but gets ripped off and he and Leo have no money to pay for dinner. Leo shares a circle in the back room with the waitress to pay for dinner. Back at the car, Eric tells his videocamera that he doesn’t want to be a documentary filmmaker, but he does want to get out of Point Place. Just then his parents show up and he's thrilled to go home.

Jackie and Hyde hang out together alone for the first time since they broke up. It's awkward. They hang with Fez, but Fez just points out the tension and unresolved feelings between them. Fez tells them they should be back together, and gets them to realize the sparks they originally had. But in talking about it, Fez realizes their relationship really was wrong. The more Jackie and Hyde think about how wrong it was, the hotter they get, and they end up making out.
