Episode #725 “Til The Next Goodbye”

Kelso drops a reluctant Jackie off in Chicago. Eric makes preparations to leave for Africa and learns that he has not yet had the required immunization shots for his trip. Kitty reveals that she has kept the notification letter about the shots hidden from Eric in her cookbook in a last effort to keep him from going to Africa. A homesick Jackie calls Eric from Chicago to tell him goodbye before he leaves. Fez, distraught about Eric’s departure, enlists Charlie as his interpreter because he becomes uncontrollably emotional in Eric’s presence. Before Eric goes to the hospital to receive his shots, he and the gang go down to the basement to smoke and Red discovers them. After being reprimanded by Red and Kitty with a punishment no greater than being sent to Africa, Eric goes to get his shots at the hospital. Kelso and Eric say their last goodbye with their pants, down slung over a hospital bed. Hyde confides in Leo that he truly has feelings for Jackie and will travel to Chicago to surprise her, and let her know how he feels. Eric says goodbye to Red and Red gives Eric his most prized pocket knife from Korea. Eric leaves to much anticipated fanfare (Oompa Band and all…), and Hyde arrives in Chicago, shocked to discover Kelso with Jackie.
